On the way home to Motown after lunchtime, there were no less than 4 cars STRANDED on Route 78. i felt like i was driving through a disaster movie - i mean who literally leaves their car (overnight mind you) on a US expressway?!?!?

When i got to my abode, i was greeted by this lovely gesture:

please note the mountain of snow directly in front of (and therefore blocking) my driveway. its not a snow drift. Merry Christmas to you too neighbor...

got to the box early to wod before the 630p class but it wasnt early enough. luckily Krissy was able to wait around for me to do the wod after the 715p class before she gave me a ride home (thanks again). Did:

Rx for the SDLHP was 95# but i had been shoveling snow at my parents all day so i didnt feel like throwing out my back for the week. also, i still need to use bands for the HSPU. Finished in 7:58. though not a stellar time - i was glad i did it.
